🌟 Camp Program

Groups are thoughtfully organized to ensure safety, build confidence, and support meaningful equestrian development on and off the ground. Each day includes a structured group riding lesson, carefully matched to each camper’s riding level, led by a Valiant Equestrian Camp Coach, with support from assistant coaches. This team-based approach provides individualized attention, strong supervision, and a positive experience with show-quality school horses and ponies that receive ethical care year-round.

Beyond riding, campers take part in hands-on horse care, horsemanship, and stable management, helping them develop responsibility, awareness, and a deeper understanding of life with horses. When possible, campers may also observe or learn from experienced equine massage therapists, equine chiropractors, farriers, and veterinarians, gaining valuable insights into equine care and management of the horses we adore.

🧩 Beyond Riding

In addition to riding, campers participate in a variety of structured and supervised activities designed to build confidence, connection, and enjoyment of the equestrian environment:

Equestrian-Themed Crafts
Creative projects inspired by horses and barn life

Interactive Games & Activities
Outdoor games, barn-based challenges, and goat playtime, encouraging movement, laughter, and fun

Nature Walks & Exploration
Supervised walks around the property, allowing campers to connect with nature

Leadership-Building Activities
Age-appropriate exercises that promote responsibility, communication, and confidence

Teamwork & Social Skill Development
Group activities that encourage cooperation, respect, and positive peer interaction

Educational Workbook
A Pony Club–style workbook supporting learning, goal-setting, and horsemanship knowledge

A Safe, Supportive EnvironmentGuided by experienced coaches who prioritize safety, inclusion, and positive learning

🐴 Our Horses
Happy, healthy horses create the best experience for our campers.

At Valiant Equestrian, our horses are treated like family. All of our school and camp horses are either active show horses or lovingly semi-retired show horses, and each receives properly fitted tack and equipment to ensure comfort and safety. They receive regular veterinarian and farrier care, blankets, massage, and chiropractic support as needed, along with top-quality grain, hay, and supplements. Each horse enjoys comfortable stalls, daily turnout, and a carefully managed workload β€” and when the time comes, they are lovingly retired with us, not discarded.
